Lebanese superstar Carol Samaha hosted a live concert in Algeria celebrating its National Day, which is held every year on October 27th. The celebration took place at the “Oval Theater” in the Algerian Capital. Carol’s visit to Algeria was an exceptional one because this is the first time that an Arab artist hosts a concert from outside Algeria for their National Day.carol

According to the London daily Elaph, it is needless to say that there was great media coverage of Carol’s visit to Algeria on Algerian’s television and in various Arab channels. She chose to open her segment by singing a humane song “Inta Meen” (Who Are You).

Afterwards she talked to her audiences saying that she feels grateful and honored to be chosen to perform at such a special occasion. She also held the Algerian flag very high and there was great interaction between her and the audience who came in large numbers higher than expected.

Thousands of fans sang with Carol some of her greatest romantic and upbeat songs, and the celebration was broadcasted on the Algerian television.

Algerian journalists wrote great things about the performance. One newspaper said that “Carol Samaha awed the Algerians with her romantic personality”.

On the other hand Carol had stayed in Algeria for 5 days where she also held interviews with various representatives from the media. She was also a guest on the Algerian music talent show “Alhan Wa Shabab” (Youths and Rhymes” where she opened the new season for the show.
