The Lebanese artist Maya Nasri decided to seek a new experience by trying out cinema directing. She had asked her fiancé the director Ehab Lam’y to allow her to work with him on his next and upcoming film to be a director assistant. 
Maya wanted to get the experience before she directs her own films, an issue that she has been thinking about since she starred in the cinema film “Code 36” with the actor Mustafa Sha’ban back in 2007.
As for now Maya’s newest cinema film “The Dictator” is being screened in movie theaters and Maya is accompanied by the Egyptian star Khaled Sarhan, Izat Abu Oof and Hasan Hosny. The film was also directed by her fiancé Ehab Lam’y.
