Parliamentary forum for Moroccan women
Posted: 17-05-2005 , 08:38 GMT

The Moroccan women parliament members of both houses have established recently The Parliamentary Forum for Moroccan women. The forum was created in order to reinforce the coordination and dialogue between Moroccan women in the parliament, and thus enabling them to gain objectives for the benefit of women in Morocco and to promote the principles of democracy in the kingdom.

Yabiladi reports that the new forum is also expected to reinforce the presence of women on the decision-making levels and enable them to make better use of the legislative mechanisms in order to promote women affairs.
