Baraem TV wins Certificate of Merit at Chicago International Film Festival 2009

Baraem TV, the Pan-Arabic pre-school channel won a "Certificate of Merit" in the educational children audience category for its animation series "Nan & Lili" at INTERCOM 2009.

 

Winning animation series "Nan & Lili" comes part of the education oriented content in Baraem pre-school channel lineup targeting children between the age of 3 and 6 years old. With its exceptional format, "Nan & Lili" guides the little ones through a basic learning experience.

 

Known for his long track record and remarkable experience in educational animation content production, Canadian Firdaus Kharas, Executive Producer of ‘Nan & Lili’ commented: “I congratulate everyone at Baraem TV on this award; it is an important recognition of the Channel’s extraordinary efforts to create world-class educational children’s programming. I am sure it is just the first of many awards to come.  Arabic-speaking children deserve the very best in entertainment and educational media.”

“Nan & Lili", a 2D / 3D animation series, revolves around two main lovely, funny child-like characters “Nan” and “Lili” who like to play and have a good time with their friends. Each episode introduces the young audience to a new educational topic that teaches them new things every day. The program nourishes imagination, creative skills and sense of determination, accomplishment, good manners, sharing, self-esteem, respect and perseverance.

 

The International Communication Video and Interactive Media Competition at the Chicago International Film Festival "INTERCOM" is a yearly competition that recognizes extraordinary talents and honors exceptional educational.
