Saudi Arabia: 15% unemployment rate

Mr. Helmi Salam, former head of the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO), said that the rate of unemployment in Saudi Arabia reached last year 15%, according to non-official sources.

 

According to Al-Watan newspaper, a recently publicized report by the International Labor Organization showed that the average rate of unemployment in the Arab World reached 12.2% compared with 6.2% in the rest of the world. The report added that unemployment grows by 3% annually in the Arab World.
