The National Archeological Mission in Dar’a, 120 km south Damascus, descovered roofed channels and basalt walls encircled by limestone rows in the Tal Ashaari location, according to SANA.
The mission also uncovered a part of a mosaic portrait, coins, circular tiles which were found orginized together, lamps, and clay crafts that date back to
numerous ages. Tal Ashaari, northwest of Mzeirib, a 400 X 200 M. in area and 25 M. height, is one of the most important archeological sites in the area. It includes walls, grave yards and clay fractures that date back to ancient times.
