Syria's General Establishment of al-Hijaz railways signed a contract worth US$ 54 million with a Lebanese company to build a railroad between Damascus and Damascus International Airport. Syria

 

“The project is considered as one of the most important projects which contributes to supporting the infrastructure in Syria and will yield financial revenues to the amount of SP 3,7 billion”, director of planning at the establishment Nabil Abdul Karim said in statement to Tishrin newspaper, published Thursday.

 

He pointed out that the project will help in attracting new investments in the surrounding areas of the project as well as creating a social development and job opportunities.
