Karris films “Tulip Flower”

The Syrian actress Karris Bashar started filming the Syrian drama series “Zahrat Al Narjis” (Tulip Flower), to be aired on television during the upcoming Ramadan season. karis


The new series is being filmed in Damascus and the metro area.


The new series also stars Syrian actors Abed Al Hadi Al Sabagh, Samer Al Masri, Qusai Kholi and Khaled Taja.


The script was written by Khaldoun Qatlan and the series is directed by Rami Hana.


 There are 30 episodes of the new series which revolve around a 17-year old girl, Narjis Al Inabi (Purple Tulip), who flees her father’s house for a nearby village to escape an arranged marriage to her father’s doctor.


She runs to Damascus where she fights for her survival and becomes a stronger person.
