Posted: 28-09-2008 , 04:26 GMT

Famous Syrian artist Asala Nasri is getting ready to launch her new album “Nos Halah” (Half a State). The new album will be a present from Asala to her fans for the Eid El Fitr (Muslim holiday after Ramadan) season. The music company ‘Rotana’ has started airing advertisement for the new album through its different channels. asalah

It is needless to say that Asala’s new album has been ready since last July, but the company was busy launching new albums for Lebanese artist Najwa Karam and Tunisian artist Latifa. Asala has announced that the company did not have enough commercials for her new album; therefore, the launching was postponed.

According to the London daily Elaph, on the other hand ‘Rotana’ gave permission to Asala to film two video clips from her album the first “Wala Dari” (I Don’t Know) composed by Muhammad Yehya and the directed by her husband Tareq Al Aryan. The filming took place in Beirut last June.

The second video clip is for the song “Yesmaholi Al Kol” (Everyone’s Permission). The song is written by the poet Siham Shashaa, composed and distributed by Jan Mari Richy. The second clip is also directed by Asala’s husband Tareq Al Aryan. Asala is thinking of filming the song “Nos Halah” which holds the album’s title, but with another director other than Tareq Al Aryan.
