InterContinental Jordan shone in the spotlight at the 1st Annual Grumpy Gourmet Awards held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, after receiving a number of very significant awards at the impressive ceremony.
In recognition of his renowned and distinguished quality of service, level of involvement, popularity and reputation, staff satisfaction and growth, Mr. Gunter Grigoleit, General Manager and Director of Operations for Jordan & Palestine, won the highly prestigious Grumpy Gourmet Award ‘Hotelier of the Year’. “I am incredibly proud to have won such an award and dedicate this to the staff and management of InterContinental Jordan whose loyalty is never ending,” beamed Mr. Grigoleit at the ceremony.
In addition to Grigoleit’s achievement, InterContinental Jordan’s renowned Indian restaurant, Indu won third place in Grumpy Gourmet’s top 10 restaurants in the country. Nominees and winners are selected by a secret ballot conducted by the review team. In conclusion to the successful evening, Indu won the Best Indian Restaurant category.
