“The IT industry is experiencing a considerable transformation, and we have identified two segments that have driven our product offer,” said Krishna Murthy, General Manager, Acer Computer Middle East. “Implemented at the beginning of 2007, our organizational structure has taken a different approach from our product posting. Focusing on delivering solutions that satisfy specific market needs has resulted significant growth and vastly improved customer satisfaction,” added Murthy.

Acer is also ranked second in the notebook sector in Austria, Finland, Germany, Norway, Russia, South Africa, Sweden and the UK.

“With the introduction of two separate divisions in professional and consumer, we believe that it is a perfect reflection of the current market segmentation” said Murthy.
