Etisalat declares net profits of AED 2,122 million for Q1 2008

etisalatEtisalat today announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2008. During the period, net profits reached AED 2,122 million, an increase of AED 285m compared to first quarter of 2007’s results which were recorded at AED 1,837 million. Etisalat’s consolidated revenues were recorded at AED 6,060 million, an increase of AED 1,251 million or 26% compared to first quarter of 2007 figures.

 

Etisalat reports 6.63m mobile subscribers, an increase of 4% from 31 December 2007. Telephone and internet lines in service at end of March 2008 were 1.33 million and 0.94 million, respectively.
