Royal & Sun Alliance, one of the world’s leading insurance groups with operations in over 130 countries launched its new brand identity, RSA in Bahrain at their Inaugural Broker Cocktail held on the 30th of April, 2008.  The event attended by over 60 members of RSA’s Broker partners, saw Mr. Scott Pickering, CEO RSA Asia and Middle East attend as the Guest of Honour together with fellow Senior Management.

The Broker Awards, to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the Insurance Brokers, were won by 3 leading broking firms in Bahrain, namely Willis Bahrain, Fakhro Insurance Services and Armour Insurance Services.

“At RSA, We have always believed in building strong relationships with our Broker Partners and the new RSA brand exemplifies our continued commitment towards growth and prosperity of us and our partners” commented Scott Pickering”.  The new RSA brand launched worldwide on April the 15th, 2008 signifies momentum, growth and continued progress acting as core values guiding RSA, through its people, products, partners and its environment.

Looking delighted at receiving the award for Best Broker- National, Mr. Adrian Pinto, General Manager, Fakhro Insurance Services, said, "I was pleasantly surprised and honoured”. We've always shared a very good rapport with RSA. The team has been responsive and responsible and this award will help us develop our relationship further.” The other 2 winners were Willis Bahrain- Best Broker (Multi National) and Armour Insurance Services- Scott Pickering Award 2008 for the most new business generated in Q1, 2008. This award will be ongoing, having a “winner” for each quarter of the year. The Competition is on!
