Dubai Fashion Fiesta enthralls audiences on third day

Dubai Fashion Fiesta 2008 entered the third day on July 26 with shows for the collections of Falguni & Shane Peacock, Deeya Nanda, and Dutch designer Jessica Joyce.

The Falguni & Shane Peacock label, known for creating garments displaying traditional elements with a global appeal, took the ramp in the first show of the day that also witnessed significant audiences. The Falguni & Shane Peacock collection was dominated by vibrant prints and flowing garments.

Deeya Chandra, young graduate from Central St. Martins and the London College of Fashion, presented her collections in the second show. Themed as ‘Malice in Wonderland’, Deeya’s collection was characterized by the use of props and vivid colours.

Dutch fashion designer Jessica Joyce, known as an explorer in the field of contemporary women’s wear, showcased her collections in the third show that reflected her edgy and Avant Garde designs.
