Department of municipal affairs receives ambassador of Vietnam
H.E. Dr. Jou’an Salem Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs, the regulative and legislative body of municipal work at the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, received at his office, Nguyen Quang Khai, the newly appointed Ambassador of Vietnam in the United Arab Emirates. 
Also greeting the Ambassador was H.E. Ahmed Shareef, Undersecretary, Department of Municipal Affairs, Hamad Al Sheryani, Executive Director of Support Services, and Denis Burke, advisor to the Undersecretary.  
The attendees discussed relations between the two parties, and the possibility of collaboration in various future economic projects.
“Vietnam is keen on enhancing the relationship with the government of UAE, we are glad to see that there is a mutual interest in taking this relationship forward, there is a high potential for reciprocal projects and investments as well as exchange of expertise specifically in real estate and infrastructure development” said Mr. Khai
H.E. Dr. Jou’an Salem Al Dhaheri welcomed Mr. Khai to the UAE and wished him all the best in his new role. Dr. Al Dhaheri extended the support of the DMA during his stay and looked forward to the possibility of future collaboration with Vietnam.
The ambassador also invited H.E. Dr. Al Dhaheri to visit Vietnam and spoke highly of some of the UAE companies currently working on real estate and infrastructure development projects in Vietnam.
At the conclusion of the meeting, H.E Dr. Al Dhaheri presented the Ambassador with a book about the life of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan
