Palm Water LLC, a leading provider of integrated water utility solutions in the UAE and a subsidiary of Palm Utilities is actively participating in the International Desalination Association (IDA) World Congress 2009. The event is being organized under the patronage His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai and is scheduled to take place from November 7 – 12, 2009 at the Atlantis, The Palm Jumeirah. The event is the biggest of its kind to ever be hosted in the region.
Several participating delegates have signed up for the technical plant site tours to the Palm Water facilities to get a first hand experience of the state of the art technologies implemented by palm utilities to serve iconic projects with highest quality sustainable utility solutions.
Commenting on Palm Water’s participation in the event, Dr. Imad Haffar, Managing Director of Palm Water, said: “We are delighted to be associated with the IDA organization and actively participating in the World Congress 2009. It is our privilege to partner with an event that will bring together the leading names working in the field of water desalination around the world under one roof. The IDA serves as an international platform that addresses major issues regarding water desalination in the world today. We take immense pride in associating with them and showcasing our state-of-the-art facilities that provide quality solutions to our valued customers in various locations in Dubai, and in being part of this unique Congress.”
“At Palm Utilities, we capture the opportunity in the synergy between water, waste water and district cooling resulting in solutions that are environmentally sustainable, financially feasible and competitive, and qualitatively superior, offering unmatched solutions in water utility services. Palm Water is probably the only one of its kind in the region that provides on a private basis the complete suite of water services including district chilled water under one company. We have set a new benchmark in the region by being able to provide integrated water utility solutions in both the vertical and horizontal value chain. We are happy that the IDA has chosen some of our facilities as part of the technical site visits for the delegates participating in the Congress as it resembles a certificate of admiration to our role and services”, he added.
