ITWorx Opens New Doors in the Middle East
Posted: 08-09-2007 , 14:45 GMT

ITWorx, a leading global software services organization, has expanded further in the region, announcing today the launch of two regional offices in Dubai and Qatar. The new on-the-ground offices will further strengthen ITWorx market position by enabling them to better serve their customers, support their key partners, as well as promote the latest software products and solutions to their customers in the region.

Situated strategically in one of the region’s leading business hubs - Dubai Internet City - the new Dubai office is expected to open its doors later this month, followed by the opening of a second office in Doha, Qatar by the end of 2007.

The high demand in technology needs of the MEA region promise a fertile market for ITWorx.  As this region is now contributing more than 50% of the company’s revenue, ITWorx looks at the Middle East as a prime location for further expansion.

“The Middle East is at the core of our growth strategy.  The new offices in Dubai and Doha put us geographically in the same location where our business is growing - where we can create a personal, on-the-ground relationship with our customers and partners," explains Hafez Hamdy, Sales Manager MEA, ITWorx. "Our regional expansion will help us better understand and fulfill the specific requirements of our customers, respond faster to their needs, and build long-term relationships that will help our customers realize their business objectives.”

ITWorx leverages its successful projects in the region within the Government, Education, Banking & Finance, and Telco sectors. ITWorx key customers in the Gulf include the UAE Ministry of Education, ictQatar, University of Sharjah, and du. Key partnerships include Microsoft, BEA, and Vignette.

“Having had substantial success to date with a number of key partners and customers across the UAE and Qatar, we believe our new offices will reinforce our commitment to the region and encourage our customers and partners to conduct further business with ITWorx.” Hamdy adds.

ITWorx new offices aim at enhancing the overall customer experience from pre-sales through to support. The premises will be the arms to provide ITWorx latest range of products and services to the increasing needs of the region from Portals and Business Intelligence, to SOA and Application Development Outsourcing services.

Through these offices the market will have access to ITWorx world-class offerings through its hybrid and offshore project development models and customer-centric products and solutions.

ITWorx expansion into Dubai and Qatar is part of their regional growth strategy. ITWorx currently has active offices across Egypt, USA, and Saudi Arabia.
