It has been 25 years since the great Lebanese singer Ragheb Alameh launched his career in the art world. 
The ‘Al Alameh’ Social Charity awarded the superstar for his accomplishments at a celebration held September 27. The event was held at an ‘Iftar’ (breaking of fast in Ramadan) meal during Ramadan at the Rotana Hotel in Al Hazimyeh, Lebanon.
A number of politicians and members of the press were present at the award ceremony. Among the guests were members of Ragheb’s family from outside of Lebanon that met their superstar cousin for the first time.
The president of the charity, Fadi Alameh, said, “On behalf of our beloved country Lebanon, we are very proud of Ragheb Alameh.” He said that Ragheb has marked a great spot in the Arab art world.
According to the London daily Elaph, Ragheb thanked his family for their support and thanked the press for standing by his side and supporting his long art journey.
