Posted: 12-01-2005 , 16:50 GMT

Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker is in the process of announcing the launch of his latest album under the production of Rotana. The album features thirteen songs varying between the Lebanese, Egyptian, and Khaliji (Gulf) accents.

Shaker has worked with some of the most prominent composers and poets to ensure that the album is of the highest standards. The singer has revealed that the release date of the album will be by the end of this month or early January the latest.

Shaker is currently in the process of filming a new song in the form of a music video, which reflects the agony Palestinian people undergo under the occupation of Israel.

Fadel stressed that the new video will portray the everyday life of Palestinian people stressing their strength to survive and will to stand up for what is rightfully theirs. Director Saeed Al Marqouk will direct the clip, which will introduce Fadel in a new image and will also mark a turning point in his career.

His albums are still achieving the highest sales among his competitors and fans face a great difficulty finding tickets to his concerts. Fadel has a great warm voice and his successful choice in songs made him one of the most important singers in the Arab world, and soon Fadel became an ambassador for the Arab song and roamed the globe singing for Arab communities reminding them of their home land.
