Lebanese singer Nelly Makdasi has revealed that she has backed out on her
previous decision to leave the production company Rotana. Extreme disputes had erupted between the singer and the company that almost led to breaking the contract between them.
According to the London based Elaph, Nelly had surprised audience around the Arab world with her decision of staying with Rotana, stressing that the dark cloud had passed and both sides were able to come to an agreement resolving all misunderstandings.
On their part, Rotana had announced Nelly’s return on its daily news broadcasts and held an interview with her, where she expressed her joy at being on good terms with the company and being back. Salem Al Huneidi, an official at Rotana, has revealed that the company is very happy to have Nelly back and that the disputes that had occurred were a result of simple misunderstandings. © 2004 Al Bawaba (www.albawaba.com)
