After three weeks of extensive treatments to remove benign tumors in France, Lebanese singer Rami Ayash returned home to Beirut. The singer is trying to return to his entertainment activities and plans on shooting a new music video and has already made arrangements to hold a grand concert despite doctors warnings. 
The singer’s doctors have advised him to refrain from taking on too many activities at once at least until his health condition is back to normal and his wounds heal. Rami has also revealed that a number of poets and composers are working on new songs for him to choose in order to include them in his upcoming album.
The recent public announcement by Rami that he is suffering from cancer, caused for the rise of worry among people in the streets and the entertainment world. The singer received many calls and letters from fans and friends inquiring about his health and wishing him that he is rid of the deadly disease.
The singer made his revelation during the program Maestro, on the Arab satellite television channel New TV with announcer Nishian. The audience was in shock when the presenter of the show asked Rami if he was suffering from a deadly disease and the singer answered yes. Then the announcer asked Rami if the illness was cancer and the singer nodded his head, leading the announcer to walk up to the singer and hug him. At this point both men began crying and the episode was immediately cut off.
The presenter of the show was attacked by critics after the heart touching episode accusing him of taking advantage of Rami’s health to attract more viewers. It was added that Rami was caused a great deal of pain to make such an announcement and that it had also affected the singer’s friends, family and fans.
