A number of famous singers from throughout the Arab world are competing with each other to sing for the theme songs of various Ramadan televisions drama series, especially since the theme song has became a major element in making a successful drama series. 
One of the leading singers in this field is Egyptian singer Midhat Saleh who became well known in this style of singing for the past few years. He sang for famous dramas like “Sikat Al Hilali, Hadrat Al Mutaham Abi and Haq Mashrou”.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, this year, Saleh will be singing for the drama series “Sharaf Fatah Al Bab” (Sharaf Opened the Door). The song is written by the great Poet Saed Hijab and composed by Amar Al Shiraie.
Saleh will also sing the theme song for the drama series “Ayam Hob Wa Roeb” (Days oF Love and Fear) that was written by Muhammad Al Ghithi and directed by Amro Abdeen. The song is written by the poet Ayman Bahjat Qamar and composed by Amro Ismail. Egyptian singer Ali Al Hajar will be singing for the drama series “Al Ayed” (The Returned). The words are written by Ibrahim Abed Al Majid and the series is starting Fathi Abed Al Wahab and Rania Farid Shawqi.
As for the Kuwaiti singer Nabil Shoayel he’ll be singing for the drama series “Jidar Al Qlab” (Walls of the Heart) a song that was written by Baha Al Deen Muhammad and composed by Ziad Al Taweel. The series stars the famous Egyptian actress Samira Ahmad, Mahmoud Qabeel, Samira Muhsin, Tahani Rashed, Reem Al Barodi, Lutfi Labib, Muna Fadi and Ahmad Zaher.
Lebanese artist Maya Nasri will also participate in singing for television drama series where she’ll be singing for the series “Wikalit Atyeh” (Atyeh’s Agency). The lyrics for the song are written by poet Baha Jaheen and composed by Fathi Khamis. There are a number of other famous singers who’ll be singing for various television drama series that are scheduled to be aired this Ramadan season.
