The Syrian artist Rabee’ Al Asmar had filed in a lawsuit against the leading Arab production company “Rotana” after he was denied a payment of over US$300,000.rabi

Al Asmar said that he is asking for the contract between him and “Rotana” to be cancelled and for compensation.

During a recent interview Al Asmar revealed that “Rotana” delayed the launch of his latest album.  He also accused “Rotana” of steeling some of his songs.

He said the production company did not care of him and the promotion of his album, and that it was hard to work with the company due to constant changes in their staff.

The company takes care of some of its artists on the account of others, said Al Asmar.
