According to the London daily Elaph, the Lebanese artist Nicole Saba recently finished the music video clip her song “Fares Ahlami” (My Dream Man), filmed in Lebanon with the director Yehya Sa’deh.
Nicole and Sa’deh are a successful pair, and have already worked together on previous video clips. However, critics claimed the clips were not suitable for Arab television due to violent and sexual content.
Sa’deh said that his friendship with Nicole comes from an understanding between them about their projects and that he would never repeat working with any artist if he did not feel comfortable from the onset.
Nicole’s new look in the clip combines a modern and classical style, and the budget for the new clip reached US$100,000 thousand American dollars.
The lyrics for “Fares Ahlami” were written by Amir Taymah, composed by Muhammad Yehya and distributed by Tareq Madkour. The clip will be aired on satellite music channels soon.
