The family problems of the Egyptian actress Hana Shiha drew major media attention last month. 
According to the London daily Elaph, Hana divorced her husband the decorating engineer Fawzi Al Awamri.
Hana reportedly did not arrive with her two children, Adam and Malik, for an appointment arranged by the court for Fawzi to visit with the children. Hana was supposed to meet her ex-husband at the ‘Jazirah Club’ in Cairo, but she never arrived.
The children have not seen their father since December 2007.
The Jazirah Club management announced that Hana was never granted permission to hold much a meeting at the club.
Fawzi is presently away on a business trip in Turkey. He plans to take legal action against his ex-wife as soon as he returns to Egypt.
Hana has enrolled the children in a new school and asked that their father not be allowed to see them without her permission.
Hana is romantically involved with the famous businessman Ahmad Khdair and rumors claim they are planning to marry.
