The Jordanian actress Lara Al Safadi is getting ready to film a new television drama series called “Zahrat Ala Al Tareeq” (Flowers on the Road). Lara stars as the character ‘Farah,’ an educated woman who dreams of accomplishing her master degree. 
According to the London daily Elaph, when a man comes to ask for her hand in marriage, Farah discovers the she has cancer and that is when she begins fighting her sickness and holding on to life.
The new series is directed by Muhammad Ayesh and stars a number of Jordanian actors like Jamil Barahmeh, Fouad Al Shomali, Diana Rahmah, Ola Al Jamal and Rifat Al Najar. The filming of the new series will start at the end of this month in order to have it ready to be aired on television during the upcoming Ramadan season.
On other grounds, Lara has already started her latest Bedouin television drama series called “Mahaji Al Jaweed” which is produced by the satellite channel ‘Rotana Khalijeh’ in partnership with ‘Maryam Fakhri Art Production Association.’ The Bedouin series is directed by Mazen Ajawi and Yara will star with a number of Jordanian stars like Shaker Jaber, Muna Mousa, Rawhi Al Safadi and Khaled Nijem.
