Hala Shiha’s cloths stolen in Germany
Posted: 08-11-2004 , 02:00 GMT

Young Egyptian actress Hala Shiha has been robbed in Germany, where she is currently to shoot the outdoor scenes of her upcoming television drama series “Raji’lik Ya Iskindiria” (I’m Coming Back to you Alexandria). The actress was in shock when she realized that her handbag, which contained the cloths she would wear during the filming of the scenes was stolen.

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Hala was forced to buy new cloths to shoot the remaining of the scenes, and had used photographs of the places she had already shot to know what she had to buy. In the drama, Hala portrays the role of a simple poor girl who falls in love while in college, but circumstances forbid her marrying her lover and ends up suffering and forced to marry someone else.

Recently, Shiha had joined the international satellite television network Orbit to take part in a program aired during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. Hala hosts a new show, which revolves around inviting different stars from the entertainment world and holding interviews with them in front of a live audience.

Hala has been witnessing ongoing success since her return to the acting world. Hala’s first role after her return was in the movie “Arees Min Jiha Amnieh” alongside prominent Egyptian comedian-actor Adel Imam, which had proven enormous success. Hala’s participation in Adel’s film has led many producers and directors to seek her and numerous offers were being presented to her to choose from. Hala was shocked to learn that she has been the cause of a dispute to break out between prominent Egyptian actors Hussein Fahmi and Mahamoud Abdul Aziz. Both men had nominated Hala to star in their upcoming works and each were willing to go to great lengths to win her over. –Albawaba.com
