May Izz El Deen, “Worst Egyptian female actress”

Young actress May Izz El Deen won the title of ‘worst Egyptian actress’ through a survey that was taken by an Egyptian magazine.  The survey included Egyptian films produced in the past ten years. mai


Egyptian actor Tamer Hajris won the title of ‘worst Egyptian actor’ and Ali Abed Al Khaliq garnered ‘worst Egyptian director.’


Of the 50 films that were named the ‘worst films produced in the past ten years,’ May played a leading role in four.


May stars the new film “Siraa Al Jabarah” (Conflict of the Powerful).  She signed a contract for the film with the producer Muhammad Al Sabki.  She will play the role of a poor woman suffering from the cruelty of her mother in-law.

 

 Also starring in the film is the Egyptian actor Hasan Husni and the actress Liblibah.  Al Sabki and May have yet to decide on the male actor that will join May in the leading role.


 May’s character falls in love with a rich young man and the two are married in Sharm Al Sheikh.  The couple lives with the husband’s mother, played by Liblibah.
