The Lebanese artist Maya Nasri is getting married to the director Ehab Lam’y after only a short affair between them.
Maya said that she met Ehab while filming “The Dictator” but they wanted the chance to know each other more before making their engagement public. She said the two will be married as soon as they make the arrangements and find a place to settle.
“The Dictator” is now being screened in movie theaters and she is receiving positive feedback for her role. Maya stars in “The Dictator” with Egyptian actor Hasan Hosny and Khaled Sarhan.
According to the Jordanian daily Al Rai, Maya said she is now filming two new movies, “Beit Memi” (Memi’s House), directed by her fiancé Ehab Lam’y and “Al Dahiyah” (The Victim), which also stars Mustafa Sha’ban. Maya and Mustafa also starred in the film “Code 36”.
Maya starred in two television drama series aired this past Ramadan season. The first was called “Wikalat Atyeh” (Atyeh’s Agency) and the second was called “Rijal Al Hasem” (The Terminating Men). Both drama series were successful.
