Critics have described Marwa’s attire as indecent.

Marwa said that Egyptian actress Hanan Turk influenced the sudden change in her attitude.

Marwa denied rumors that she is wearing a Hijab ( female Muslim head cover). She said that for the time being she has only changed her attire.

“I will take it one step at a time, and may reach that decision one day,” said Marwa.

Marwa will appear in the new film “Dr Silicon” with Egyptian actors Hasan Hosni, Narmin Al Fiqi, Diya Al Merghni and Hiyam Al Katem. The film was written by Khaled Hasona and directed by Ahmad Al Badri.   It is a comedy about plastic surgery and what it hides.
