The Lebanese artist Dolly Shaheen has denied the rumors that she has decided to covert from Christianity to Islam to divorce her husband. Shaheen confirmed that she is still a Christian, and that her entire family is Christian. 
Shaheen was very upset over the rumors, describing them as “dangerous.”
“Religious is precious to every person and such matter should not be undermined,” said Shaheen, “If I were to change my religion, I would have the courage to reveal it.”
During an interview with the Arab newspaper “Akhbar Al Nojoom” (Star News), Shaheen said that the private life of a celebrity does not effect his or her success.
“The fans don’t care whether I am married or divorce, and what type of religion I believe in,” she said.
Muslims as well as Christian are big fans of Shaheen.
As for divorcing her husband, she declined to comment.
