The entertainment show “Al Tawilah Al Mustadirah” (the Round Table) that is aired on Melody radio station with co-host Vini Roumi held many shocking surprises on its most recent episode; starting with the famous Lebanese artist Nawal Al Zoghbi’s announcement about her separation from husband. During her live interview on the show, Nawal announced that she is officially separated from her husband, but refused to go into details. She stated that despite the separation, they are on great terms and added that he will remain to be her manager and the father of her kids.

 The announcement comes after a year and a half of ongoing rumors about the two being separated. Rumors began when Nawal was seen leaving her home to live in her parents’ home. On many occasions Nawal refused to deny or admit the rumor, placing a red line on the subject refusing to talk about it.

Three months ago, Nawal had stated that she was going through several marital problems on an entertainment show. Sources have it that Nawal refused talking about the separation because she didn’t make a final decision with her husband about the matter.

 According to the London daily Elaph, on other grounds, Nawal announced that she has a duet project coming up in the near future that she’ll be singing with a non-Arab singer but refused to say his name or any details about the matter till she signs the contract. Nawal stated that the foreign singer is not Lebanese Canadian singer Masari.

 Back to her music Nawal did not make clear whether she would film another video clip from her album “Khalas Samihit” (That Is It I Forgive You). She announced that she is in the process of filming a video clip for a classical song from her upcoming Khaliji (Gulf) album. Nawal is optimistic about the new song and anticipates that it will be a great success. She will record the song in the next two days and the song is distributed by the talented Hadi Shararah, who has previously distributed two successful songs from her last album.

 Nawal talked about the advertisement for the contact lenses that she made a while back and said that there were contact lenses that were made especially for her eye and skin color. When she was asked about being paid a million and a half dollars for the advertisement she laughed and said “much more”. She said that the lenses will be launched in khaliji market for the upcoming month of Ramadan especially in the Kuwaiti market.

 It is needless to say that Nawal will be filming an episode for the entertainment show “Taratata” with the great singer Wardeh, who had specifically asked for Nawal to accompany her on the show.
