Lebanese superstar Elissa held a live concert at the Egyptian Opera House in Cairo. 
The audience went wild over her performance.
She opened her performance with the song “Helwa Ya Balady” (My Country you are Beautiful) by the late artist Dalida.
According to the London daily Elaph, Elissa said that that she was grateful to perform at the Opera House in the presence of the great singer Wardah.
“I love Egypt and the Egyptian people,” declared Elissa, as the audience cheered and clapped for her.
She sang the song “Low Te’rafoh” (Only If You Knew Him) and others from her lastest album, released last winter.
Elissa celebrated her birthday in Beirut last week with family members and friends at a birthday party held at the “Venissia” hotel.
She also held a live performance for the opening of a cell phone company in Dubai, prior to the celebration.
