An Egyptian accuses Muna Al Shathli and her husband of insulting him

A legal accountant had filed a lawsuit at the police department in Cairo against Egyptian broadcaster Muna Al Shathli and her husband accusing them of insulting and badmouthing him. In greater details there has been a lawsuit filed by the accountant Mr. Yusri Said Al Namir, who is 53 years old, against the 35 years old Muna, who is also known as  the co-host of the entertainment show “Al Ashirah Masan” (10pm) which is aired on “Dream” satellite channel. muna

 

The case was also filed against Muna’s husband Mr. Samir Yousif Hussein Yousif who is 38 years old.


 The accountant was accused of harassing Muna and sending her indecent messages on her cell phone. Muna had filed a lawsuit against the accountant and then took away her lawsuit, because she said that he had stopped sending her the messages.


 According to the London daily Elaph, as for the accountant he filed his lawsuit because he said that his career and personal life have been damaged for this untrue incident. He accused her of lying and making stories about him.
 Muna Al Shathli had studied Political Science at the American University in Cairo and in her earlier career life she worked at the “Arab Contracting Company”. She then moved to work at the “ART” satellite channel where she presented a number of programs.

 

As for now she is working on “Dream” satellite channel and the show “10pm” is considered to be a major breakthrough in her broadcasting career. The show has accomplished a great success and is watched by many fans in Egypt and other Arab countries.
