You will need:

·        Melon seeds

·        A darning needle

·        Poster paints and brushes

·        Scissors

·        Old newspapers

Directions:

·        Wash and dry the melon seeds well.

·        Cut the button thread to the size of your necklace.

·        Tie a knot at one end of the thread.

·        Thread the darning needle.

·        Push the needle and thread through each melon seed.

·        When the whole length of thread is almost full of melon seeds, tie both ends of the thread together.

·        Spread the old newspapers on your working top.

·        Spread out your necklace on the newspapers.

·        Carefully paint the seeds.

·        Remove the necklace and hang up to dry.

·        Repeat the painting process on the back of the seeds.

·       Hang up to dry.
