Posted: 24-01-2006 , 09:42 GMT

You will need:

·        1 cup (100g-3.5oz) plain flour

·        1¼ cups (315ml-10 fl oz) milk

·        2 eggs

·        3 teaspoons butter, melted

·        Vegetable oil

·        Pinch of salt

·        Sieve

·        Mixing bowl

·        Egg whisker

·        Small nonstick frying pan

·        Tablespoon

·        Palette knife

Directions:

·        Sift flour and salt into a bowl.

·        Make a well in the center of the flour and salt.

·        Break the eggs into the well.

·        Add a little milk, and beat well.

·        Add the rest of the milk and beat again.

·        Put some vegetable oil in the frying pan, just enough to cover the base.

·        Put the frying pan on the oven ring and turn the heat on low.

·        When the oil heats, pour in 2-3 tablespoons of batter.

·        Tip the frying pan back and forth so that the batter covers the bottom of the pan.

·        Cook over high heat for 1 minute, until lightly browned underneath.

·        Turn the crepe with palette knife and cook on other side for 30 seconds.

·        Remove the crepe from the pan.

·        Repeat the last 5 steps until you cook all your batter.

Note: Serve warm with chicken, tuna, cheese, warmed jam…etc on top.
