
For one stuffed potato you will need:
· 1 large potato
· ½ cup (50g-1.75oz) grated cheese
· Some butter
· Mushrooms, stoned olives, cucumber pepper or carrot sticks…etc for decoration (optional)
· Greased baking tray
· Knife
· Tablespoon
· Small bowl
· Potato masher or fork
Directions:
· Preheat the oven to 200 Celsius (400 Fahrenheit -Gas mark 6).
· Wash, scrub and dry your potatoes.
· Carefully prick the potatoes using the fork.
· Place your potatoes on the greased baking tray.
· Bake in the top half of the oven for 1 ¼ hours.
· Take the potatoes out of the oven and cut them in half lengthways.
· With the spoon, scoop out the middles into the small bowl.
· Mash them well, and then stir in the butter and grated cheese.
· Spoon the mixture back into the potato skins and level them off.
· Place your potatoes on the greased baking tray again.
· Bake in the top half of the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Note: You may add sliced mushrooms to your stuffing.
