You will need:· 2 cups rice
· 2 cups boiling water
· ¼ cup Vermicelli
· 2 tablespoons butter
· Salt to taste
· Bowl
· Saucepan
· Wooden spoon
· Hot water
Directions:
· Soak rice in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes, rinse and drain.
· Put the butter in the saucepan.
· Put the saucepan on the stove and turn the heat on medium.
· Add the Vermicelli noodles and sauté until golden.
· Stir in rice.
· Add hot water and salt to taste. Boil for 5 minutes.
· Lower heat, cover saucepan and simmer for 20-30 minutes, until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
· Serve hot.
