
You will Need:
· 6 eggs
· ¼ cup sugar
· ¼ teaspoon salt (optional)
· 4 cups milk
· 1 teaspoon vanilla
· ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
· ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
· Whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
· In a large saucepan beat the eggs.
· Add the sugar and salt (optional) and beat mixture well
· Stir in 2 cups of milk.
· Cover the saucepan and place over low heat, stir constantly
· Remove from heat when mixture is thick ( thick mixture will coat a metal spoon with a thin film)
· Stir in remaining 2 cups of milk
· Stir in the vanilla
· Cover and refrigerate overnight
Note: Serve garnished with whipped cream, cinnamon and nutmeg
