
You will need:· 1 lb. dried apricots
· ½ lb. dried prunes
· ¼ lb. raisins
· 1 cup (100g-3.5oz) blanched almonds, halved
· ¼ cup (25g-1oz) pistachio nuts
· ¼ cup (25g-1oz) pine nuts
· 2-3 Amardeen sheets (dried compressed apricot)
· 1 tablespoon rose water (Ma-Ward)
· 1 tablespoon blossom water (Ma-Zaher)
· Water
· Serving bowl
· Mixing spoon
Directions:
· Wash the fruits, and put them in serving bowl.
· Add the nuts, and mix with the fruits.
· Cover mixture with water.
· With your hands, cut up the Amardeen sheets and add to mixture.
· Add the rose and blossom water.
· Cover bowl, and leave for 48 hours.
· The syrup will thicken and turn into a beautiful golden color. Serve in little glass bowls.
