Cake

2     tablespoons granulated sugar

1     large egg

2/3  cup milk

Topping

1/3    cup all-purpose baking cake mix

1/3    cup packed brown sugar

1       teaspoon cinnamon

2       tablespoons unsalted butter

·        Preheat oven to 400-degrees.

·        For the cake: 

·        Mix together all cake ingredients and stir just to combine.  Pour into an 8-inch round cake pan lightly coated or greased.

·        For the topping:

·        Stir together baking mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon. 

·        Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.  Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
