Israeli occupation forces on Saturday shot dead a 9-year-old girl in southern Gaza, medical sources reported. Locals said an Israeli tank hit a civilian house in Deir al Balah, south of Gaza city, killing Ibtihal Mithqal Zaher and badly injuring her sister. 
The sources said that the injured girl, 11, was not in a life-threatening condition.
Meanwhile, Fatah's al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades Friday night claimed responsibility for killing an Israeli in Ramallah city after confessing to his guilt. The military wing of Fatah said in a statement that the agent "confessed to conveying information to the Zionist enemy on resistance fighters’ moves, which enabled the enemy strike those elements."
The statement identified the agent as Majdi Abu Samaha in his 20s and a resident of Tulkarm city. The Palestinian Authority’s security apparatuses had arrested Abu Samaha after the assassination of Hamas activist Amer Al-Hudairi in the same city three years ago but he was later released.
