A massive blaze engulfed a firecracker warehouse in the Al Quoz industrial area in Dubai early on Wednesday, according to Dubai Police sources. Police and civil defence staff and rescue teams rushed to the scene where the fire later engulfed six surrounding warehouses.

According to WAM, the fire which killed two pople and wounded two other people was caused by improper storage of firecrackers.
