Yemen: Car bombing hits police headquarters

yemen securityA large explosion shook police headquarters in the east Yemen town of Sayun on Friday, local officials said. At least one policeman was killed and several others were hurt.  Officials said the blast had been caused by a suicide car bomb.

 

Sayun, in the Hadramut province, is 700 kilometres east of the capital Sanaa. It was still unknown who carried out the bombing.
