al Irada (the will) is the title of a new Syrian TV series that deals with the problems of the young generation and their relations with their parents, according to the daily Syria Times.
In this series, director Nizar Awad is back to the social romantic drama.
Awad told the daily that the series tackles several social problems relating to the social life and the financial reasons behind them. He added that the series deals with the relationship between brothers through the story of a greedy man who wants to dismiss his brother from the company and house. He also refers to the misunderstanding between different generations.
The second axis of the series revolves around husband wife relationship and the impact of the couple’s differences on children. Moreover, it sheds lights on the relationship between girls and their mother.
There are other axis related to the students’ problems during their study at the university and the temptation of richness which leads to the collapse of their life.
In reply to a question about his technique, the director said that his series is based on short dialogues.
