‘Baby Doll Night’ for 3.5 million Egyptian Pounds
Lebanese sexy singer Haifa Wahbi is currently undergoing negotiations with the production company Goodnews. The production company will be producing the new movie “Lailat Al Baby Doll” (Baby Doll’s Night) starting the Lebanese singer.
Wahbi will be paid $600 thousand American dollars which is an equivalent of 3.5 million Egyptian Pounds. This will be Wahbi’s first leading role and her first film.
The film was the last piece, which was written by the late Abed El Hai Adeeb. His son Adel Adeeb will be producing “Baby Doll’s Night”.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, the film revolves around a comedy political theme. The film talks about the changes that the Egyptians and the Arab world went through after the September 11th disaster that hit the United States of America. Since that date the view of the Arabs has changed throughout the world. Most of the scenes are done in one night and it is the ‘New Years Eve’ night.
A number of famous Egyptian actors will be joining Haifa in her role. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Hussein Fahmi, Noor El Sharif and the Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman will all be joining Haifa and costars with her in the film.
This will be the opening for Haifa in the movie business. Haifa has also signed a contract with Al Sabki Production Company to star in another movie.
