‘Rotana’ celebrate with its stars

Emirati singers Hussein Al Jismy and Rowaida Mahrouqi, and Lebanese artist Maysam Nahas hosted a live celebration organized by the music production company ‘Rotana’ for signing a new contract with Emirati communication company ‘Du.’
Under the new contract clients of ‘Du’ will now have access to Rotana’s music library.
According to the London daily Elaph, Rotana invited all of its stars and clients of the company ‘Du.’ Lebanese artist Asi Hilani was present as a guest of honor.
Kuwaiti host Barakat Al Wiqan came to host the celebration. Barakat first introduced Yousif Mgharbal, the head of communication for ‘Rotana’ and Othman Sultan, the executive officer of ‘Du.’
Clients of ‘Du’ now have access to Rotana’s music library, and are able to download any of the Arabic music available.
Arab artists in the library include Muhammad Abdoh, Amro Diab, Elissa, Hussein Al Jismi, Ahlam, Shireen Abed Al Wahab, Najwa Karam, Kuwaiti Nawal, Fadel Shaker and many more.
“Du” clients will also have access to Rotana’s newest releases.
The Lebanese artist Maysam Nahas was the first to perform at the celebration. She sang “Mahdoom” (Adorable) from her latest album, and a collection of her old and new songs.
Emirati singer Rowaida Mahrouqi started her performance with the song “Ghareeb Al Tabaye’” (Strange Behavior) and then sang some of her old and songs. She concluded with her song “Eh Eh” from her latest album.
The last segment of the musical performance featured Emirati artist Hussein Al Jismi, who has returned to the music industry after a long absence due to the death of his father.
Al Jismi will lead the new advertising campaign for ‘Du.’
He sang the song “Wana Mareg Mareet” (When I Was Passing By) and asked Asi Hilani to come and join him on stage to sing.
Al Jismi also performed with the Emirati singer Abdullah Bel Khair at the celebration.
