For a second time in less than one month the radio station “Nojoom FM” refuses airing another song for Lebanese artist Dolly Shaheen. The song which is called “Mantash Adi” (You can’t compete with me) has been shown on a number of satellite channels where it was used to promote the film “Al Mish Muhandis Hasan”.

The radio station justified the refusing of airing the new song by saying that the lyrics are not suitable for the station listeners. The song is written by Ayman Bahjat Qamar and composed by Muhammad Yehya.

According to the London daily Elaph, previously the radio station “had also refused airing Dolly Shaheen’s song “Lazim Ye’af Ashan Ana Jeet” (He Has To Stand Because I Came), because it is believed that the song contains sexual indications. The station stressed that the lyrics for the song are not suitable for the respected families that listen to the radio station.

As for Dolly she believes that the lyrics for the song are normal and very cute and she adds that it’s not her fault that the listeners have bad minds. She also said that the lyrics have clear meanings and don’t have any other explanations.
