17 stars host concerts at “Layali Febrayer”
The organizer of the musical festivals at the music company ‘Rotana,’ Muhammad Al Hajri, said that the musical festival ‘Hala Febrayer’ (Hello February) has been postponed until March.
Al Hajri said that the delay is due to the war in Gaza.
The events of the festival will be aired on both Rotana and Al Watan channels.
According to the London daily Elaph, Al Hajri also said that there will be 17 music artists who will perform over 6 concert nights.
The list of artists includes, from Kuwait, Bashar Al Shati Nabil Shoail, Kuwaiti Nawal and Abdullah Rowaished. From Saudi Arabia, Rashes Al Majed, Abed Al Majid Abdullah, Abu Baker Salem and Muhammad Abdoh, and from Egypt, Tamer Hosni, Shireen Abed Al Wahab and Amro Diab.
From the United Arab Emirates, Hussein Al Jismi and from Lebanon, Nancy Ajram, Elissa, Fadel Shaker, Najwa Karam and Nawal Al Zoghbi.
It is important to point out that the artists of this year’s festival are special and well chosen. The festival will also see a comeback from the artist Rashed Al Majed and Abed Al Majeed Abdullah who have been away from participating at “Hala Febrayer” for the past 5 years.
As for the other famous artists Ahlam, Asala and Wardah Al Jazairyah who have participated at the previous “Hala Febryar” festival, Al Hajri would not comment on their absence this year and said to get an answer on the matter from the president of Rotana Mr. Salem Al Hindi.
