7- Lost Souls

Maya Larkin, Winona Ryder, is a modern-day exorcist who discovers a conspiracy to summon the Prince of Darkness to earth. At the center of the scheme is unwitting journalist Ben Chaplin. The clairvoyant Ryder must convince the atheist reporter of the devil's existence and save the world from eternal damnation.  

This Horror movie is rated R for violence/terror and some language. 

Aside from Ryder and Chaplin, the movie stars John Hurt, Elias Koteas and Sarah Wynter. 

The movie was directed by Janusz Kaminski, written by Pierce Gardner and is based on a story by Pierce Gardner and Betsy Stahl. The film was produced by Meg Ryan and Nina R. Sadowsky, and released by New Line Cinema. 

The movie’s running time is 1 hour and 37 minutes. 

In it's second week out, the movie made $3,300,000, giving it a running total of $12,900,000.
